Hand-forged, one-of-a-kind jewellery
Each piece is individually made by hand in my Adelaide Hills studio — drawn from a love of unique gemstones, the art of hand engraving, and a deep gemmological knowledge that shapes every setting.
Sourced with gemmological expertise — each stone hand-selected for colour, clarity and character.
Intricate engraving cut directly into the metal — patterns, motifs, and lettering unique to each piece.
Sterling silver and gold worked entirely by hand — no casting, no moulds, no two pieces identical.
Carefully packaged and posted anywhere. Online consultations available — no in-person visits required.
Every piece shown is a sold commission — use them as inspiration for your own. Get in touch to commission something uniquely yours.

Venessa is an ACA-approved counsellor and clinical supervisor who works from a trauma-informed and person-centred approach. When she is not counselling, she is in her home studio hand-forging jewellery. This is her passion project, not her core business.
Venessa learned the art of metalsmithing when she worked for Simon Sturt-Bray Jewellery Design between 2002 – 2007. Now retired, Simon taught her the fundamentals of fabrication and repair in the years they worked together. Despite making a career change into human services, Venessa has continued to grow her home studio. Her passion now includes practising the art of stone-setting and hand-engraving, mentored to her by Maurice at Metal and Stone Jewellers.
Venessa has always had a love of crystals and gemstones. In 2008, she completed the Certificate IV in Gemmology with the Gemmological Association of Australia, going on to teach the qualification with the same organisation for the two years following her graduation. Combining the scientific knowledge with her background in alternative therapies and energetic spiritual healing, Venessa aimed to create talismans and amulets imbued with a harmonic vibration and deep meaning. After spending years teaching Rei-ki, creating symbolic jewellery became an ongoing passion.
Today, Venessa may not get into the studio as often as she likes, but the passion is still there. The love of creating never fades, and it provides a healthy break from her clinical role. If you would like to enquire about a commission, please be aware that construction may take some time as this is now her hobby, not her daily business.
